Oregon BETC

The Business Energy Tax Credit (“BETC”) is offered by the Oregon Department of Energy (“ODOE”) as an incentive to encourage investment in energy conservation, renewable energy resources, transportation options and less polluting transportation fuels.

The State has also established a Pass-Through Option, allowing for applicants for BETCs to identify a pass-through partner(s) and “pass-through,” or sell, the BETC to the pass-through partner(s) for a lump sum payment at a rate determined by rule by the ODOE.
